Since 2008, Jaeger-LeCoultre and UNESCO have been working together to protect the 47 marine sites appearing on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The Grande Maison and UNESCO have chosen, Earth Day’s 45th anniversary – a symbolic date that spurs reflexion on environmental issues in Jaeger-LeCoultre’s New York boutique.

A true inspiration for all advocates of precious ocean life, this park was an obvious choice for Jaeger-LeCoultre. Not only does it shelter some of the last glaciers and vast non-polar ice fields on our planet, it also hosts a spectacular forest edged at the ocean side with breathtaking fjords. Glacier Bay is home to many marine mammals such as porpoises, seals, sea lions, and several species of whales, as well as sea otters whose valuable fur almost caused their extinction several centuries ago.

Jaeger-LeCoultre commitment has heightened awareness among the general public of the need to preserve our precious marine heritage.
