Paras and Shalini displayed a nostalgic collection which was inspired from all things sugary.
The duo use western pattern making principles to re-create traditional Indian silhouettes. Creative and un-conventional use of traditional materials like beads, sequins, 3- thread motifs and textures was seen in the collection. There was an infusion of laces and lace like textures contrasted with laser cuts and fabrics.
Emphasis was laid on hand detailing and seam finishes making the garment beautiful inside out. Sunshine yellows, luscious pinks and cool blues gave a touch of elegance to the designs. Beautiful gowns in sheer fabrics, delicate sheer skirts, off-shoulder pleated dresses, and embroidered capes were attention catching.
