Arpita Mehta’s “The Golden Hour” line was an amalgamation ethnic and vibrant bridal wear.
The sexy silhouettes, the fluid and wide designs and the dramatic styling heightened the fashion quotient of the collection. Adding more glamour fabrics like raw silk, tabi silk and chiffon in hues of gold, Sindoor, emerald and black were the intricate mirrorwork, cut Dana embroidery and innovative suede appliqués.
The stunning entries were a gold gown; an off-shoulder choli paired with an emerald green raw silk alluring Lehenga, brown layered kurta with gold bolero and tiered Sharara. Other highlights of the collection were a Grecian gown teamed with sleek pants, a printed draped pant, cowl salwars with a tiny choli with long trail and a black deep ‘V’ neckline kurta.
Showstopper, Malaika Arora Khan glided down the ramp in an attractive gold off-shoulder choli with a panelled net trail and fitted slit long embroidered skirt
