Chanel, the most iconic luxury brand in the world, has announced that they will be launching e-commerce in 2016, according to Bruno Pavlovsky, Chanel’s President of Fashion. Three of the Métiers d’Art companies, owned by Chanel under the Paraffection subsidiary, will be launching e-commerce as well.

1Primary reason for Chanel’s launch is to grow their Métiers d’Art companies, however, Pavlovsky refused to divulge any further, as of yet, saying it was “much too early”. He has said that the move needs to be linked with some of the brick-and-mortar boutiques. With New York City home to two of Chanel’s most iconic boutiques, namely the Madison Avenue and Soho boutiques.
