The very slick and modish Ivy style inspires designer Paul Smith to create an exclusive men’s collection for an online retailer, MR Porter.
The collection which takes inspiration from Take Ivy, a book of photographs shot on US Ivy League campuses in 1960s, features retro timeless Ivy look with a contemporary twist. It’s comprised of nine classic styles in the form of shortened blazer, patch pocket jacket, sweatshirt, classic striped shirt, beige pleated tapered trousers and shorts. 
The Ivy look, which was famous throughout 60s, was endorsed by the likes of Jacqueline Kennedy, wearing Converse All Stars and pale colored sweater with patch elbows. Later, this no-fuss cool and slick style turned into cult one and embraced by fashionistas across the world.
