The Indian designer who started his career from the ramps of Singapore some seven years ago is now all set to show his bridal and couture collection at Kuwait Fashion Showcase, to be held from 14th to 16th May, 2012.
It’s designer Amit GT who will be showcasing his decadent line of couture and bridal gowns featuring innovative and intricate couture techniques of textures and embellishments, at the event. The gowns will be in various shades of ivories in duchesse satins, crepe de chines and mousselines.
About the essence of his collection, Amit says, “There is underlying sense of romanticism viewed through the prism of structured and contemporary styling. The objective behind the collection was to create bridal and couture pieces for a woman who does not want to look dated and yet does not want to abandon the classic sense of romance.”
