With an aim to turn Marks & Spencer into world’s most sustainable retailer, the brand has launched one-of-its-kind most sustainable men’s suit.
A product of four years of relentless experimentation, this suit is made of organic Australian wool, dyed and spun into yarn Italy, to be shipped to China along with around other 20 components. The interesting features are the linings made from recycled PET bottle polyester, recycled polyester zips, reclaimed pocket linings and reclaimed stray buttons. Even the care label is made from recycled polyester.
The suit which came as a key learning tool for the brand will help it develop more sustainable clothes including womenswear by the end of this year.
