Steve Madden, the refined quality luxurious footwear fashion brand, acquires the licensee of its Mexico business.

According to executives, $15 million acquisition of Steve Madden business in Mexico, which distributes and markets products in wholesale and retail stores, will boost efforts to grow the brand’s presence throughout the Mexican market.

580Owned by footwear distributor Group Dianco, the three businesses that sum up Steve Madden Mexico are Trendy Imports S.A. de C.V., Comercial Diecisiette S.A. de C.V., and Maximus Designer Shoes S.A. de C.V, all of whom will be a part of the acquisition.

Meanwhile, ever since the launch of Steve Madden in 2005, Mexico has been known to be one of the strongest and the growing markets for the brand. The company now looks forward to expanding its presence to leading departmental stores, add new wholesale accounts and retail stores, and introduce some of its other brands to the area.
