200The French luxury leather goods brand, Louis Vuitton marks its all new foray into print media, with the chairman and chief executive, Michael Burke launching an exciting Biannual Magazine. Titled ‘The Book’, the first issue of the magazine spans 126 pages, including men’s-wear shoot in Iceland, shot by Peter Lindbergh and a feature story referring to vintage Keepall bags in monogram canvas, the oldest being 31 years old.

The magazine will also feature an interview with Catherine Deneu and will havie Charlotte Gainsbourg on the cover. It will be translated into 11 different languages and will be emailed to selected customers.200 1

Speaking of the contributors of the magazines, the art direction has been done by Yorgo Tloupas and the editorial lies in the hands of Sylvia Jorif, who has previously been a contributor to French Elle.
