It’s called the ‘Saga of Spree’ which is going to float down the ramps of the upcoming Kolkata Couture Fashion Week by Shweta Chhawchharia.
Inspired by the journey of a young girl full of dreams to a sophisticated woman with grace and individuality, the collection is an amalgamation of her journey from a young girl, her desires, carefree attitude and the “capture the world in her hands” feeling, with the ensembles showing her funky side to a women grown in her desires and feelings, yet wanting to experiment with her attires, having the world within her reach, sophisticated yet young at heart. The collection is inspired from the woman who is confident enough to break free the rules and stand out in the crowd.
She does not restrict herself with colours, instead let the palette go colourful with turquoise, lime, scarlet, emerald, brown, golden, purple, pink and so on. As she grows, the silhouettes also grow with her. From pleating to gathers, waistlines to longer hemlines, symmetric to asymmetric, georgettes to chiffons to tulles, brocades or prints, she is confident enough to carry it all with equal grace and glamour.
