Relaunch of Christian Lacroix

After going bankrupt in 2009 Christian Lacroix shut its operations, to only return back in 2012 with a boutique in Paris soon.

The label which was launched in 1987 had gone bankrupt in 2009 and operated as a licensing operation, selling accessories, menswear and home ware. Meanwhile, the designer breaking all ties with his eponymous label started designing under the name of ‘Monsieur C.Lacroix’.

Now, Christian Lacroix is making a comeback and will be opening a store on June 1 at Place Saint Sulpice in Paris. The boutique will retail design objects handpicked by the label’s Creative Director SachaWalckhoff, and a selection of vintage Lacroix pieces.
