KRUHUN, by Shantanu Goenka for LFW W/F, casts an enchanting spell on the collection. Dipped in gold and black, every ensemble tells a story of its own, with a unique personality and the spirit of individuality.

The collection meaning black brings out the best from the designers embroidery archives. Impeccable sequin sheeting, age-old zardosi which is both extremely fine and delicate, and the eye twitching kashmiri tilli bring the collection together. Apart from the traditional techniques, laser cut appliqué, textured brocades, velvets, and sequin cutwork add a different dimension to the ensembles.

An eclectic mix of men’s and women’s wear, ‘Kruhun’ draws inspiration from old India, Persia and Middle Eastern influences. Breezy anarkalis, asymmetrical jackets, farshi pyjamas and beautifully embroidered sarees dominate the women’s wear silhouettes, while the menswear mainly consist of transparent chogas teamed with fluid pyjamas and jodhpuris, with waistcoats completing the look.
