The Kitsch boutique housing umpteen renowned International fashion labels celebrates the art of fashion through unique art installation, ‘Kitsch’, conceptualized and designed by PriyaSachdev, displaying both men and women runway collections and accessories at DLF Emporio, New Delhi.
Being displayed on the occasion of International Fashion Week organized at the mall from May 3rd to 9th, 2012, the celebration sees mannequins dressed in Spring Summer 2012 collections of Victoria Beckham, Yves Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Herve Leger and DVF. Among them the highlights are the runway looks of Victoria Beckham and the YSLCaba Chic Bags, which are a global fashion rage.
Defining the installation as a creative expression of word Kitsch, PriyaSachdev, Creative Director, Kitsch, said, “This is really what fashion is about – to create dreams, fantasy and do something which we do not intend to do in our everyday life.”
