Designer Parul Grover’s latest collection featuring Jalabiyas with a twist came out surprisingly in its ethereal avatar. Inspired by the Greco-Roman drapes this supple and delicate collection would make any woman look like a Greek Goddess.
Pleated and draped to give a new stroke to the conventional kaftans, Parul has beautifully come up with flowy Jalabiyas. The use of luxury fabrics encrusted with crystals offset eerie drapes and the color palette is suffused with rich colors like dark purple, deep red, bright pink and ivory to nudes and beiges.
Parul defines collection, “The crystal studded embellishment makes these jalabiyas look all the more stunning. The long and flowy drapes are the USP along with kaftan sleeves which makes this dress more chic. The lower portion below the waist is designed in style of a harem which works as a height enhancer.”
