Of late India reveled in its once in a life time moment when Lady Gaga performed on sitar ragas on the last day of F1 Indian Grand Prix after party in the Capital.

While donning a Tarun Tahiliani white fitted body suit encrusted with heavy gold and Swarovski chains, the style sensation perfectly paired it with a stylized, draped concept sari in lame and chiffon, stunning all and sundry with her perennially bold style statement.

The night came as one memorable moment for the designer either who was all exalted to hear Lady Gaga choosing one of his ensemble for her first ever performance in India. Tarun says, ““There was no greater surprise than to have the curtains go up and to see Lady Gaga give the most captivating performance I have ever seen, wearing one of my pieces. It was especially flattering that she mentioned toward the end of the concert that she could not wear the clothes she had originally brought with her after she saw it.” 

The designer furthers that she had completely transformed his signature sari drapes, first into a sarong drape, then she threw the pallu off and eventually she performed in the body suit with fish net stockings and Louboutins. It was her creative genius that made 5 different looks out of 1 of our pieces.
