Graduates of NIFT, Nivedita and Swarup Mukherjee are known for creating a textured & vibrant look using handlooms & hand screen printing. They have been working with the master weavers of Eastern India for over a decade and their products extensively carries human touch & signature of mother-nature, with an impeccable quality.
Started in 2002, their label ‘Nivedita & Swarup’ deals with unique eco-friendly hand-woven & printed scarves & stoles & sarees, using natural fibers like silk, linen, wool, cotton. The label is well-known for creating interesting and unique textured look. The design house has around five hundred handloom weavers working for them. Their design studio is situated at Mumbai.
The designer duo has showcased their collections at Lakme Fashion Week, Delhi Fashion Week and Hong Kong Fashion Week.
Nivedita & Swarup are currently from Gazel in Italy, Bauhaus in Hong Kong, Apex Fur in Japan, Amythist in India, Cache-Maille in France, Asian Eye in USA and Samsonite in Chile.
