The designer duo synchronized with each other as they were climbing the ladders towards their career in designing. Their label ‘Karleo’ is going to be launched at the upcoming Lakme Fashion Week Spring Resort 2014.
Leon is a graduate from St. Xaviers College, Mumbai following which he pursued his graduation from the Pearl Academy of Fashion in New Delhi. During his years of struggle, the designer got the privilege to intern with designers like Varun Sardana and Nitin Bal. He has also been associated with leading labels like Valentino and Armani. His uniqueness lies in the fact that his mantra for designing lies behind developing a personal connection with his clients.
Karan has had the experience of working with the prestigious Spykar jeans for 4 years. The designer pursued his post graduate diploma from London College of Fashion in Codwainers Footwear Design. With challenging attitude towards designing, he and Leon successfully created ‘Karleo’ which kickstarts at the upcoming fashion week. With another post graduate degree in Aesthetics at hand, Karan has also co-created a brand of footwear and accessories popularly known as ‘AKA Bespoke’.
‘Karleo’ will focus on bridal wears, net fabrics and embroideries, something which both the designers excel in.
