The young vivacious designer is an alumnus of the Pearl Fashion Academy. Launched in 2011, her label ‘Astha Narang’ is a widely admired brand in the fashion market. She employs a creative use of drapes and folds in her collection, thereby making it youthful and unique.
In 2009, she won the Vogue Honours Award followed by her selection in Design 4, Indian’s only fashion reality show. Showcasing her collection, ‘Fold’em’ at the Lakme Fashion Week, Summer Resort 2013, she gave a new dimension to the artworks of Goran Konjevod, her source of inspiration as a designer.
Astha exclusively works hard on the fabrics and creativity and completely avoids embroidery. Her artworks are a colourful blend of buttons, stones and other creative designs knit on the beautiful net fabric, which dominates her collection.
