Doing things in style is what The Collective does best. And the launch of its latest Spring Summer 2011 collection was no exception. Launched 6 months ago as primarily a men’s store with a small boutique section for women, this Spring Summer saw the women’s collection expand to a robust 30% of the entire mix.

Much to the delight of Delhites, The Collective now offers iconic brands like Vivienne Westwood, Red Valentino, D&G, Love Moschino, Michael Kors, M Missoni, Juicy Couture, True Religion and more waiting to be a part of the most fashionable wardrobes in the city.

To announce the launch of this new line up, The Collective got socialite Thenny Mejia to invite all her friends to get together at the store for a fashionably enjoyable evening a day after the International Women’s Day. There couldn’t have been a better day and a better way to engage with the fashion leaders of the city. 14 of the city’s best dressed women like Shibani Kashyap, Nishi Singh, Ramneek Paintal, Ramola Bacchan, Megha Bhatia and others became stylists for the day where they each styled a model in what they thought would be the perfect look for them.

Commenting on the event, Shital Mehta, COO, The Collective, said, “This Spring we invited some of our clientele to celebrate women’s day amidst high fashion and luxury; as we celebrate another milestone for the chain by expanding our women’s wear line to offer a larger shopping space, global brands and an international shopping experience”
