The online fashion retailer Nasty Gal finally goes offline and makes its debut retail location by opening a 3,500 square foot store on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

The store is designed by architect Rafael de Cardenas and takes its inspiration by concert stages with reflective surfaces and open, cage-like structures that juxtapose exhibitionism and privacy. It will offer an exclusive space for selected apparel, intimates, accessories, tech-gadgets, gifts and exclusive vintage pieces. Excitingly, it will also include a shoe salon, magazine library and a live cactus garden.

Meanwhile, Nasty Gal has been marking a forte each year since its inception in 2006 and has served over one million customers in more than 180 countries, with about 25% of its sales occurring outside of the US. It is highly famed for regularly updating its website with new offerings and has more than 1 million fans on the social media.

Well, let’s see if the store will be an equal success or will people continue ordering their favourite Nasty Gal items online.
