Sonaakshi Raaj’s “The Run-Away Bride” was collection full of ultra-feminine and matchless ensembles for contemporary bride who never wants to run out of trend and fashion.
The main focus was on the usage of flowing drapes and silhouettes with an edgy twist for the modern bride. Stunning outfits were created using luxurious fabrics such as net, taffeta, organza, tulle and georgette which were decorated with dazzling pearls and exquisite stone embellishments. Adding more elegance to the outfits were bold jewel tones fused with soft pastels.
Models graced the ramp in striking structured gowns, embroidered blazers with cut-out detailing, sheer capes, tasselled palazzo jumpsuits, boleros and contemporary Indian wear. Highpoints of the collection were a black mermaid-cut gown with an attractive opened back and a range of rainbow colored tassels used as a shrug.
Showstopper, Kriti Sanon swayed down the catwalk in a gorgeous fairytale-like gown in blush pink with layers of tulle bedazzled with gold embroidery and a lace belt.
