The last day of Amazon India Fashion Week was opened by Aekatri- a brand by Charu Vij. The essense of the brand blending traditional wear with contemporary wear could be seen on the runway from their collection- ‘Sanjha Phool’. The colour palette was earthy tones of reds, browns, black and amber.
The cotton silk ensembles were layered for a chic contemporary look- kurta with puffy sleeves and pockets over a calf length skirt with minimal embroidery, kurta with scooped hem line with kimono style cape, oversized cowl neck kurta with puffy sleeves jacket.
The shoes worn by models were also an element to notice, clogs with chunky platform were an interesting element that was added to the look.
The collection was an ode to women who are always surrounded by the question how a woman should dress?
