The Italian artist Franco Guerzoni is all set to put up an exhibition in the rooms of Angiolini dell’Andito of the Pitti Palace in Rome, this February 2013.

The evocatively titled exhibition, ‘The Wall Forgotten’ will have more than 30 unique works on display, and will focus in particular on the result of experience of the last decade of the artist. On offer are works that have added a new and substantial chapter to the rich and varied novel figures Guerzoni has gradually created on the subjects like wear of the time, the ruins of archeology and traces of memory.

The exhibition promoted by the Ministry of Heritage and Culture and curated by Pier Giovanni Castagnoli and Fabrizio D’Amico will also include a selection of historical works dating back to the seventies when the artist resorted to the use of photographs in his works.
