On Saturday a strong earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale devastated Nepal. In such a situation one of the most vocal and successful fundraisers in the effort has been Nepalese born fashion designer Prabal Gurung.
The designer sent forth a plea for donations through his organization, Shikshya Foundation Nepal relief fund. Gurung shared his appeal on Instagram followers, Twitter and Facebook along with message to more than 500 press contacts and retail partners.
Gurung’s organization will donate 100 percent of the money raised. So far he has helped to raise 51% of his goal of $250,000. Let’s help him reach his goal and surpass it.
