It has been just a few weeks since same-sex marriage was legalized in New York, and it got its celebrity endorsement in the form of fashion designer Michael Kors tying knot with his longtime love and co-partner Lance LePere in a private ceremony on Dune Beach, Southampton in New York State. 

The 52 year old Project runway judge, Michael met Lance when the later was hired as an intern under him in 1990, who now happens to be the creative director of women’s collection design for Michael Kors. 

About his 21 year old relationship finally being consummated, Michael said to a magazine, “We are very excited to finally be able to have the opportunity to marry in our home state after many years together.’
