‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ actor Leonardo Di Caprio auctioned off a Space Voyage at the annual amfAR Cinema against AIDS Gala held at the recently concluded Cannes Film Festival. Scheduled for next year, the voyage was auctioned by Sharon Stone who bid for a whooping amount of $1.5 million to accompany Leo for his space trip for HIV/AIDS research.

The event served to be Leo’s second consecutive auction for a space trip, which earned a surprisingly high amount of money this time. Besides, the trip was among the host of highly sought after items that were auctioned off at the annual gala which raised as much as $38 million in support of the research.
