Gucci, The Film Foundation and Warner Bros. Entertainment announced the 2013 restoration of Nicholas Ray’s Rebel without a Cause (1955).  Gucci and The Film Foundation, will have its world premiere at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) Bing Theater on November 1, 2013.  The film will be introduced by Martin Scorsese, who will be joined by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini and LACMA CEO and Wallis Annenberg Director Michael Govan as co-hosts of the evening.

The restoration of Rebel without a Cause marks the tenth collaboration between Gucci and The Film Foundation. Through this long-term partnership, Gucci celebrates its own 92-year history, which has been strongly influenced by cinema.  The collection of iconic films, under the banner “Cinema Visionaries,” restored to date by Gucci and The Film Foundation includes:

Through the “Cinema Visionaries” series, Gucci and The Film Foundation screen these restored titles at select international film festivals and museums around the world.
