Preserving the rich craft of jewelry making, World Crafts Council, an NGO working with UNESCO presents Abhushan an International Jewelry Summit that will bring together leading artisans and experts from five regions including Europe, Latin America, Africa, North America and the Asia Pacific region. The Summit is from the 4th to 6th of February at The Ashoka, New Delhi. 

An exciting first of its kind event, designed to capture the diversity, symbolism and artistic form in Jewelry Abhushan creates an interface through many platforms like seminar, exhibitions, glittering presentations and Craft Exchange Workshop. The three day symposium held at the Ashok features enriching lecture demonstrations by 25 speakers from 5 regions of WCC, Europe, Latin America, Africa, North America and Asia Pacific Region. 

The summit is organized by the World Crafts Council and facilitated by the Crafts Council of India and the Delhi Crafts Council. Flagging off with a   Craft Exchange Workshop at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan (28th January – 6th February 2011), Abhushan creates an interactive moment when traditional crafts persons and experts join their creative heads to analyze and apply a range of international design concepts.
