The French luxury fashion house, Louis Vuitton continues it collaboration with Pritzker Prize-winning architect Frank Gehry. The artist looks forward to conceive windows for the fashion house’s fall collections and the first women’s wear range designer by Nicolas Ghesquière.
Including the new Foundation Louis Vuitton, Gehry’s design elements are backed by curved metal panels resembling sails, reverberating to the architect’s conventional building designs. Scheduled to open in late October, Gehry interestingly named his product displays ‘wind wings’.
Meanwhile, the artist has been previously associated with Louis Vuitton’s ‘Icon and the Iconoclasts’ project, where he designed an exclusive handbag for the brand, which will go on sale next month.
