Daniele Cavalli has left his family’s eponymous label, as menswear creative director for the brand, to be taken over by his father. This major change comes after Cavalli’s CEO Gianluca Brozzetti and COO Carlo Di Biagio recently stepped down from their roles.

Speculations were also ripe that the label could soon to be up for sale – after The Financial Times reported that the Italian fashion house is in talks with London private equity group Permira to buy a majority stake in the company. Although a spokesperson from Cavalli rubbished the reports.
