The South Indian sensation, Kirat Bhattal is now the heart throb of north. The prominent face on Indian television industry, Kirat is a proud adorner of the likes of Lakme and Fair & Lovely.
Here is a free wheeling chat with versatile Kirat Bhattal.

How do you see Kirat Bhattal? What does life mean to you?
Kirat is a fun and easy going lass who loves to paint and read. Well. Life for me is about living, learning, experiencing, travelling, meeting new people and trying to have fun through it all.

Have you ever woken up with a thought that its enough of glamour, I want to explore something else out of me?
Sometimes I have woken up with exactly that thought. I believe most people wake up at some point in their lives thinking or wondering if there’s something more out there for them. Whether is it’s to explore or experience something unique. Right now I am at a good place. My work, which I enjoy, keeps me quite busy but at the same time I find time to paint, read and travel. I’m learning French which makes me feel like a student all over again.

What do you love most?
My family is my pillar of strength and love, and I would give my life for them.

What is the most touching moment of your life?
I’m still young. I’m sure that moment is yet to come but still I think I had a special connection with my dog, Yoda and when he died I did spend sometime in my room crying and there are still moments where I think of him and get teary eyed.

What is spirituality to u?
For me spirituality is a way of life. Our journey as human beings is not about going down a pre ordained path, but about creating that path. Life rarely makes anymore sense when things are done ‘in order’. Life makes sense when we are centered in our hearts breaking free from the fixed patterns that weigh us down and not resisting how our unique journey needs to unfold in it’s own beautiful way.

“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience” said somebody once, “but spiritual beings having a human experience”.

What has been the most interesting experience in your career span?
I’ve had lots of interesting experiences in my career span. Be it my first shoot to my first day on set for a movie in a language i didn’t speak. But if i had to pick one, it would be signing on with Lakme because it got me noticed and changed the flow of my career.

Any guilty pleasure?
Cheesecake.
