Andrea Pompilio and the brand have mutually decided to not renew their creative partnership. Though the actual reason is not known but according to sources the stress of producing collection after collection has made him decide to step down. This is been a usual trend with many creative heads as they are more keen on focussing on personal projects which will be not as demanding as with luxury brands.
Canali has announced that an in-house design team will work on the brand’s spring 2017 collection. The in-house designs will be presented at Milan Fashion Week this coming June. (Source wwd)
