Of late the Italian high street fashion brand Benetton got the permission to develop Venice Palazzo. Waiting for last five years to develop the 18th century Palazzo Fontega die Tedeschi, a 101, 507 square feet building owned by the family, the brand finally got a nod to open a luxury department store at the heart of the city.

According to the company, the building’s renovation work has been assigned to Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas that will cost about 18 million euros.
