1A Shaded View on Fashion Film, the International Fashion Film Festival founded by Diane Pernet – had already left its mark in 2014 with the likes of Belgian Design, Dries Van Noten. Its 8th edition, held early Dececmber at the Centre Pompidou, the event marks another important step by inviting one of the most iconic French couturiers of Fashion History: Jean Paul Gaultier, who presided the jury of the fashion film competition with a Carte Blanche session, hosted by journalist and critic Elisabeth Quin.

ASVOFF Grand Prix 2015 winner Hungry For Love by Justin Ambrosino,  the festival offered special screenings, live performances, conferences  offered thematic sessions with prestigious guests such as Iris van Herpen, Nicolas Godin, Nicolas Saada or Mathias Kiss, as well as documentaries, including an Arte cycle, a session focused on the Woolmark story with Colin McDowell, conferences and live performances from cult group Chicks on Speed, Muscians Pete Drungle and LOANE are part of this weekend dedicated to fashion and film, and to what inspires them.
