After relentless photoshop failures, Victoria’s Secret now fails to deliver what it is celebrated for – the good quality lingerie.The American women’s inner wear brand is being sued by one of its previous hosiery suppliers for $ 15 million for producing cheaper knockoffs of its own products and misleading the customers.
The New York-based Zephyrs, which used to supply made-in-Italy hosiery to Victoria’s Secret claims that its designs are still used by the lingerie giant on its packaging but the product inside is different and of lower quality.
It also alleged that the products had cheaper lace trims, irregular borders, missing heel reinforcements and less durable construction. Zephyrs now seeks a recall of hosiery which include lace top fish net stockings, fish net thigh-highs with backseam and stripe thigh-high with bows besides seeking corrective advertisement.
