Designer Varija Bajaj will be showcasing ‘Boho Chic to Boho Bride’, a collection comprising of both bridal and chic elements at WIFW A/W 2011.

The Boho Chic range with bohemian and gypsy fusion style is naughty yet adorable in its drape and silhouette. Chunky knits, Fringes, laces, metal embellishments, have been used with unexpected combinations of patterns, textures, and seasonal styles for the uber-attractive element of fashion confidence. With toned down colours it is essentially targeted to the modern chic both in India and Internationally.

Varija’s mood for the Boho Bridal range is modern and cutting-edge yet the soul belongs to the glorious and illustrious past. Her trademark tassels, use of beads and other trims are for the younger lot. Interesting twist is given to unconventional cuts. Once again she has redefined the six yards of saree with unusual drapes. There is an extensive use of nets, georgettes, silk and satin in the collection which is bold yet beautiful, sensual yet aesthetic, romantic yet practical.
