A new Fashion Month begins, with Tom Ford opening the New York Fashion Week SS 18, which was pretty colourful at the Park Avenue Armory. As there were cuffed shorts worn with razor-sharp tailored blazers, High-cutout swimsuits and low-slung jeans alongside Sheer, ruched gowns.
On the runway, it was a who’s who of models, including Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Joan Smalls going short haired. 1980s, stronger shoulders and early NYC nightclub Area were the inspirations for this collection said the designer, featuring tailored blazers and cropped jackets; chainmail T-shirts and bedazzled, barely legal mini dresses; leather jeans and balloon jackets, all in shades of bubblegum pink, dusty rose, lavender, black and white.
