A preview of Tom Ford’s highly anticipated womenswear line has been unveiled on the internet, revealing a return to the decadence and luxury styling. As the designer announced his return to womenswear, he had also promised to release a film showcasing his Spring Summer 2011 collection and he delivered.

The clip cuts from ramp shots to front row attendees and backstage access while Terry Richardson is seen taking snapping pictured furiously. On the corner of the ramp, Ford stands calmly overlooking the frenzy.

Modeled by muses Karen Elson, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Caroyln Muphy, Stella Tennant, Amber Valletta, and more in Paris, Ford’s new collection is reportedly "worth the six year wait". However, Ford has deliberately kept the majority of his latest range firmly under wraps. "I do not understand everyone’s need to see everything online the day after a show. I don’t think it ultimately serves the customer, which is the whole point of my business – not to serve journalists or the fashion system,” said Ford.

A behind-the-scenes look at the photo shoot is set to appear on Ford’s new website next month.
