A thoroughly out an out experimental and high on design quotient is something that Samant Chauhan proposes to present for the upcoming edition of India Mens Week. The creations inspired by the theme psychic killers; the reasons of their behavior have been reflected in the form of design esthetics in each garment.

The chromaticity is kept in cream, brown and beige as the line deals with a concept that Samant had conceived in his college days and finalized the entire range with sketches and research on paper two years back.

Thus the range picks up the mysterious and skilled elements from the life pattern of the selected number of real life psychic killers and thrives on ideas as they used to design their own garments and weapons in order to conceal their identities. Samant talks about a particular trouser that he has designed which does not require shoes as there slips a leather sole right into the extension of the trousers leaving no scope for foot prints.

In terms of experimentation with prints and texture the collection uses unconventional methods like transferring rust on fabric by leaving the garment with rusted metal over a period to attain blood like stains.  Non chemical processed leather also forms an important part of the line as it features and bags and shoes.

This spring as Samant focuses on a look that is unwashed, un-ironed and wrinkled there is something else as well to look out for; he plans to convert his entire research and process of working of this truly experimental collection in the form of a book.
