Ritu Kumar for The ForestThe veteran designer, Ritu Kumar goes a cinematic way by designing costumes for her son, Ashwin Kumar’s upcoming movie – The Forest.

The film which is loosely based upon the writings and exploits of Jim Corbett and uses the tale of a man-eating leopard to address the environmental concerns, features actress Nandana Sen in urban chic look visiting the forest in designer wear.

Sharing the concept of her designs in the movie, Ritu Kumar, said, “Designing costumes for the movie was a departure to any costumes that I have done in my career, as they were based more on an environment friendly locale than actual costumes that I have designed for The little terrorist which were more based on a rustic ethnic community.
