Play Clan, a Kitschy Indian lifestyle brand recently collaborated with the Mehrangarh Museum Trust to create a collection titled, “Royal Jodhpur: A Journey in Drawings Jodhpur”.
The inspiration for the designs comes from the royal heritage of the city with its glorious Umaid Bhawan Palace; the charm of the courteous and elegant citizens of the city of Jodhpur and the blue houses with hues of indigo, cobalt, azure and lapis, that nestle around the stately and majestic Mehrangarh Fort; and the arts and crafts such as puppets that keep tradition and culture vibrantly alive.
The collection comprising of T-shirts for men, women and children uses the quirky signature Play Clan styles to illustrate the essence of the city. The collection will be available by the end of September 2012 at Umaid Bhawan Palace and the Mehrangarh Museum shop in Jodhpur, as well as the Play Clan shops across the country.
