The last few days of the mesmerising Paris Fashion Week appear to be in full fervour as fashion labels Stella McCartney, Leonard, Giambattista Valli, Ellie Saab, Wunderkind and Yves Saint Laurent enthralled the runway in the most passionate way.
As the day kicked off with Stella McCartney and Leonard, the two labels showcased their exclusive and vintage ethos through their creations. Long drapes, layers, stringed embellishments, shrugs and mild layers worked the best for Stella. Elegance attached with the utmost comfort, along with funky surface prints proved to be the prior essence of the collection. While, for Leonard, it was all about keeping it street style dynamic and rough. However, partial feminine appeals could also be spotted. Keeping the colour scheme comparatively dull, the designer made some ethnic use of floral and aquatic prints, which lead the onlookers luring for the collection in full sway.
Meanwhile, asGiambattista Valli, Ellie Saab and Wunderkind hit the grounds, the ambience of the evening seemed to be in a complete swing. While both Giambattista Valli and Wunderkind’s creations comprised of a complete day wear collection, Ellie Saab stood true to the brand’s philosophy and showcased some exuberant and luscious evening wear creations. Giambattista’s creations were mostly intricate with applique prints, unique cuts and innovative styles. Wunderkind however focused more on the comfort factor and conventional chexk prints. Besides, it was Ellie Saab who took all the attention with its exuberant colour palette and feminine silhouettes.
Last but not the least, Yves Saint Laurent ended up being the major highlight of the day, especially because of its exclusive runway setup. The designer presented an all new party wear collection in fabrics like glossy leather and smooth velvet. Furs, metallic finishes, trendy sling bags, safari jackets and funky belts listed among the highlighting embellishments and accessories. The collection was surely an ideal wardrobe for the fashion freak teenage girls of present times, for whom glamour and sophistication are the only fashion mantras.
Moreover, the day was also met by Sacai, Emanuel Ungaro, Veronique Branquinho and Sonia Rykiel with their spring summer ready to wear creations on the runway.
