The designer duo Niket & Jainee is debuting at WIFW A/W 2011 with its collection called ‘Mandana’ based on the tribal folk art of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

The theme is mainly variety of exquisite decorative designs which are highlighted with dots and dashes. The collection is an electric mix of design element inspired from Indian heritage, where the embroidery style is very tribal. It underlines the freedom of thought and essence of purity using net, georgette and crushed silk. Tunic, long dresses and the stylish kaftans are some of the highlights of the collection. The cut, fall and flow of the garments are just like the flow of the waves. The color story for collection comprises of red, grey, black, yellow, beige, off whites and orange hues.

Elegance is defined through sarees and anarkalis, which redefine sensuality and subtle glamour and present a distinctive statement. The soft net in bright shades, the unusual embroidery, an exquisite texture and a perfect detailing makes the long anarkalis a masterpiece. The embellishments are inspired from tribal art explorations and are hand crafted using both bright and dull gold zari threads.
