While Pringle was showcasing its Spring Summer 2013 collection at ongoing London Fashion Week, label Alexander McQueen was all strapped to spill the beans.Just moments after the Pringle show, Alistair Carr, the former design director of Pringle, was declared as the new head of design at McQ. Alistair will work closely with Alexander McQueen’s current creative director Sarah Burton.
In camaraderie with Sarah Burton, Alistair, a Central Saint Martin’s College of Art graduate will debut with Pre-fall 2013 collection for the Alexander McQueen diffusion line. Alistair Carr has had previously worked with labels like Balenciaga, Marni and Chloe.
