Fashion is accessible to everyone, as models with disabilities got the chance to walk the runway at Edmonton’s Western Canada Fashion Week 2017.

An Evening of Diversity featured amputee models and models in wheelchairs or using walkers, it’s always been WCFW’s mission to be inclusive and representative of people that are of different shapes, sizes, abilities and experiences, says Sandra Fig, creative directory.

Adding further, she said WCFW have also had a runway event featuring Ageless Fashion which included models aged 40 to 80, conveying people that fashion truly is for everybody. You can be fashionable at any age, any weight, any height, any ability; it’s just about being fabulous.
