Day 4 of Milan Fashion Week 2016was packed with some very interesting, chic and colorful collections.

Bottega Veneta’s spring collection by Tomas Maier showed leopard prints calf shearling jackets and skirts overlaid with black spidery metallic embroidery. A pale silvery cotton dress with a crochet knitted navy and black panel bodice, fanciful full-skirted dress in peony cotton with orange braided embroidered stripes and gowns in cotton poplin with halter were highlights of the collection. Israeli designer Aliza Shalali Deizy opted for more feminine colors and embellishment for her spring collection. There was ocean inspired horizontal color stripes which ran throughout the collection. Further she showcased ostrich feather chubby jackets, satin maxiskirt and many designs which were created from men’s shirting fabrics.

Antonio Marras romantic spring lineup was inspired by works of American artist, Sergei Iosifovic Parajanov. Antonio showcased varied looks like a patterned jacket paired with boy shorts; a cropped gold jacket with elaborately decorated shoulders, clay-colored cropped utility jumpsuit and dresses with embroidered collar and gold polka-dot details. Peter Dundas for Roberto Cavalli showed an eclectic collection featuring sleeveless biker vest, rugged utility parka, cocktail dresses, billowing silk skirt, loud leggings, suede dresses and tops, swinging-chain embroidered vests and milk-maiden dresses in tie-dyed silks.

Ermanno Scervino’s feminine and romantic spring collection included stunning lace dresses ranging from asymmetric mini styles to plissé slip versions. There were a pilot-inspired jumpsuit, sharply cut coats and double-breasted elongated vest worn over mini shorts. Jil Sander’s stunning and diverse spring range had neatly cut blazer with little slits at the shoulders, loose, long-sleeved tunic dress with utility strap details, blue shirtdress twisted at the midriff, red leather coat and pale pink-and-mauve apron dress.

Miriam and Piero Cividini for Cividini presented an array of knitwear ranging from cropped sweater to knitted bra top. The duo used sienna linen to crisp cottons printed with geometric motifs to create stunning long dresses. A gray sleeveless blouse and skirt featuring a pattern of broken-up grids exuded eighties vibe. Gabriele Colangelo’s spring collection was fascinating and gorgeous. The creative range included color-blocked organza plissé dresses decorated with geometric see-through inserts, an asymmetric coat crafted from an exclusive material, shirtlike jacket with flared sleeves.

Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi for label Aquilano.Rimondi’s spring collection showed shirts with reverse collar and sequined sleeves, sequined miniskirts, sheer tanks and slips with a ruffled hem.  The bag’s collection called BAG-A.R presented cross-body styles in shades of cream, bright blue, black and white. Dsquared 2 designer Dean and Dan Caten took on surfer girl couture for their brand’s spring-summer 2016 collection. Models hit the runway in colorful looks with body-con scuba style dresses paired with flowing fabrics, sparkly scuba leggings, slouchy black pants, skinny tie-dye jeans and sequined jackets.
