Japanese Kansai Yamamoto is the inspiration behind Nicolas Ghesquière Cruise 2018 collection for Louis Vuitton, at the Miho Museum, designed by I.M. Pei, the architect of the Grand Louvre and its pyramids in Paris.

Known to stage his cruise shows at architectural landmarks, this time around Nicolas showcased at the entrance to the Miho Museum in Kyoto, Japan, where a metal tunnel emerges from verdant mountainside and runs across a suspension bridge.

The collection was all about sleek tailoring, graphic prints, short hemlines and dramatic makeup, with Japanese elements, from embroidered dragons to kimono-style belts while prints were designed in collaboration with Yamamoto.
