Nevertheless it’s done and dusted and we bring you the highlights of the day.

aBurberry womenswear collection features a mix of patterns and textures influenced by British artists, musicians and history along with a series of individual designed and named bags which can be personalized with up to three initials as part of Burberry’s Runway Made to Order service

The collection consisted of Cashmere military coats, duffle coats, field jackets, fur-trimmed puffers, cape coats, cape jackets, patchwork skirted dresses, pleated dresses, panelled T-shirt dresses, flared officer trousers, cropped military trousers in double-faced fabrics, intricate embroidery, leather buffing with stone for a high-shine finish. The showcase was in electric colour palette of Parade red, sapphire blue, military green, black, mustard, powder blue, metallic teal, white, gunmetal, regimental navy.

Christopher Kane had a flurry of clothes in his AW16 show with a brand coming on its own and is part bought out by a luxury conglomerate. The showcase fulfilled all women’s requirement starting from knits, bags, fabulous tailoring with an equally good selection of shoes and boots and a logo sweater rendered with a gothic type ‘K’.

aaRoksanda launched a handbag line comprising of leather bags and coin purses to be available by summer end while her AW16 predominantly had cape-collar, with its jumbo shoulder-skimming shape.

Sophia Webster with NewGen sponsorship and training under Nicholas Kirkwood was the only footwear presentation. This time around she brought us corpse bride inspired collection with floral, embroidered leather boots, holographic butterflies and stone-encrusted heels, with her tongue-in-cheek slogan clutches read as: ‘drop dead gorgeous’ and ‘I myself, am strange and unusual’.
