Day 2 of the London Collections Men Spring Summer 2015 began with the best of the British affair with designers like Orlebar Brown, J.W. Anderson, Margaret Howell, Oliver Spencer, Richard James, Jimmy Choo and Alexander McQueen to name a few, showcasing their creations on the runway.

Some of the major highlights of the evening included Margaret Howell’s collection which was a retro take on the conventional office wears and suits. The colour palette was kept extremely mild and limited, ranging from shades of black, white and grey to the vibrant navy blue and olive green. Also employed were number of satin scarves and mufflers to enhance the entire look of the garments. Displayed was an excess of linen with cropped and coughed trousers which were unique and trendy. The collection was a mix and match of long coats, tuck-in shirts, sweaters, jackets and many more.

Whereas, the luxurious Jimmy Choo came up with a multi-purpose footwear collection meant for casual and formal purposes. Keeping the brand’s refined quality and exquisite styling intact, the designer’s spring summer 2015 collection included spray-painted single-monk straps, crocodile effect boat shoes and slick brogues. The colour scheme of the shoes was variegated, comprising of prints in bright blue, yellow, navy blue, sparkling golden and many more. The collection was surely to enhance the panache and gentility of its wearer.

Moving on, Alexander McQueen came up with its usual sharp tailoring and unique prints. The designer made use of some differentiated styling which included plain white trousers paired with sleek coats, turtle neck sweaters, loose-fitting trousers, short pants, jackets and many more. Also, the major attraction of the collection was the angle-pointed shoes that too in the basic colours of black and white. The footwear added grace and an individualistic personality to the whole look.

Moschino came in next with Jeremy Scott creating the first collection for the brand. The American designer’s prints were inspired junk food and soda packaging, smileys, flags of the world, and fellow fashion labels’ signature motifs. He bought on stage the much required 90’s feel with the colourful bright combinations of red, yellow, blue, orange and green among others. Unlike any other collection showcased, Scott experimented with the brand’s look and mesmerised the audience with a retro beach wear influenced collection.

The day followed with other designers like Kit Neale, Christoper Kane, Hackett London, Duchamp and Casely Hayford to name a few, showcasing their respective collections on the runway and concluding the enthusiastic second day of the London Collections Men SS15.
