Blended in fabrics like poplin, twill, satin, cotton, linen and viscose, Lecoanet Hemant brought to forefront their latest 2012 Spring Summer collection titled Nomad. Nomad unveils an enthralling variety of dresses, tunics, tops, shirts, skirts and trousers.

The duo’s collection is inspired by the beauty of the ‘Central Asian Steppes. The creation focuses on the tensile techniques and sensibilities of the nomads belonging to the Central Asian region. It muses on high fashion and sustainability. The designers have proficiently infused intricate weaves along with skilful embroidery to augment the earthy feel of the range. The structured silhouette, asymmetric shapes and laser cut of the base material adds a touch of glamour to the designs.

Lecoanet Hemant has for the first time implemented the ancient nomadic technique of rice stitch mixed with appliqué work to bring an international twist into the outfits. While soft pastels concord with the natural and pure experience of these modish outfits, tones of deep Himalayan electric blue accentuates a sense of contrast in the collection.
